Can I install the program from the original disc with its Win 98 driver and try that first or can I update the driver from there? There is little information on the driver itself but it might be an Acer Vuego Scan Model 6698. | Krad (7878) | ||

| 1141970 | 2010-10-06 07:30:00 | I had a similar problem. This is a copy of my notes. Scanner names must be less than 30 characters. See email. If have to reinstall old scanner, use wizard and put in old scanner disc, if asks for nearest modern version, put in Benq Color Flatbed Scanner 340U/640U #2 Later change name in Control Panel to less than 30 characters. put in Benq Color Scanner 340U/640U |
