| 1142696 | 2010-10-08 18:21:00 | CCleaner to clean registry as well as temp files, cookies and such. MS Security essentials (free) or NOD32 for your antivirus. Spybot PLUS either malware Bytes or SuperAntiSpyware for your anti-spyware. Run the lot, see how it goes, also download and post a Hijackthis log for Speedy. Remove unnecessary items from startup. And sometimes, after all that, if the O/S has been used for a few years, a fresh install is a good idea. |
