| 1142456 | 2010-10-07 10:46:00 | Win 7 64bit. Just noticed nbtstat has gone. 'Everything' shows its name in windows/system32 but no size or date and dbl clicking produces a 'file not there' response. Tried finding it in a backup of 18 Sep and not there, either. Not in Recycle Bin. Scanned with MBAM - nothing found. sfc /scannow found nothing to fix. Can't find any answers by googling so am really puzzled as to how it went AWOL and how I get it back again. Any ideas?? |

| 1142457 | 2010-10-07 19:38:00 | Dont know if this will work or not, But I have uploaded a copy from my W7 HomePre 64, maybe you can grab it and dump it in the sys32 folder - Grab it here (www.box.net) - it shows as only 18KB on my system. (real huge) :lol: Good luck :D |

The mystery is how on earth it got deleted. System32 is not the area one goes poking around in to save 18K of space!! But I will never know the answer to that question. Thanks, again. |
