1142334 2010-10-07 02:23:00 HI all

Well after two hours (!literally!) to HP somewhere in the world, I give up.

All I was after was an older printer driver than the current one as somehow (no idea how) the driver got updated and my user has lost the functionality to print first page to letterhead and remaining pages to plain paper, or all pages to plain paper.

Anyway after much stress on the phone HP does not have an archive of older drivers or can supply one.

Has anyone here got a driver older than the current one PCL5e one (61.074.561.43) that they can email me?

Would save my sanity and an unhappy user...

1142335 2010-10-07 02:32:00 How far back do you need to go ? Found this (download.cnet.com) - But it's PCL6 - under "Full system Specs" it does say XP. wainuitech (129)
1142336 2010-10-07 02:33:00 This version is before the version you posted? 60.63.461.42b

Whats the diff between

HP Laserjet P2015 PCL5 Printer driver package and plug and Play print driver package?

1142337 2010-10-07 02:39:00 Sorry guys - I wish, but have tried both of those drivers already. I googled drivers for it to death, that's why i thought my only hope now is someone here with one on file.

Have searched the network and the old driver has just done a runner somewhere..

1142338 2010-10-07 02:40:00 And did you install the drivers before turning it on / connecting it? Because things wont work properly if you dont Speedy Gonzales (78)
1142339 2010-10-07 02:46:00 Didn't touch the drivers - that's the weird thing.
One day working fine, next day functionality lost and driver updated..a little scary actually. Printer is attached to network, print servers is an SBS2003 box.
She said it changed after some MS updates went through, but that was on her machine and not the SBS box...

1142340 2010-10-07 02:51:00 Change it from automatic to something else then. Roll the drivers back to the previous version Speedy Gonzales (78)
1142341 2010-10-07 03:00:00 No roll back option. Updates not set to automatic. I expect (and encourage) the users to allow the windows updates, first time I've seen it affect a network printer. FAB (6923)

Brave move on a network.
