| 1142303 | 2010-10-07 01:02:00 | Hi there. Im looking at some 10" netbooks, HP Mini etc. Is Win7 Starter or XP the way to go (speedwise etc ) ?? It will need to run Office as well, & be used by someone not computer savvy Dont say Linux :rolleyes: |

| 1142309 | 2010-10-07 08:17:00 | Windows 7, just because it's newer. :p :pf1mobmini: 2x :D It just feels better and more modern, networking might work better as well, longer for win updates etc. With Win2k, I find that networking works with W7 but it takes a while to warm up. A group of W7s just work. Wireless is better too on W7 not sure if that was the h/w related thou. |
