2010-10-06 20:16:00 | What is unnecessary and what can I get rid of? I have no need of Media Player or Sidebar. There seems to be too much IE. Java is necessary. | 1142196 | 2010-10-06 20:24:00 | Thats probably because you've installed IE9 beta You can tick these entries then tick fix checked. Close browsers (or use ccleaner and delete their entries in startup) I would use something else besides this. Its always full of bugs and holes O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adobe Reader Speed Launcher] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe" O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe" If you dont want sidebar tick this entry. It can be a memory hog O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [Sidebar] %ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\Sidebar.exe /autoRun (User 'LOCAL SERVICE')

2010-10-06 20:39:00 | Thanks Speedy, I am not running IE9 beta. I did have it ,just for a look, but I thought I had got rid of it. I use IE 8 64 bit and IE 8 32 bit. What about the 023 entries that say "file missing"?
JJJJJ (528) | ||
2010-10-06 21:57:00 | Yes you have heaps of file missing entry's. I would get rid of them but wait for Speedy to reply. :)

2010-10-06 22:02:00 | Leaves the missing files entries there. They're probably still on the system | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-10-06 23:06:00 | Yeah ignore them, it's a x64 thing, something to do with permissions I believe, there is nothing wrong. | wratterus (105) | |
2010-10-07 21:38:00 | Those are not missing entries its just that HJT is not compatible with 64bit systems. | Pancake (6359) | |
