868035 2010-03-17 20:45:00 I was hoping you could go outside and look at more than one. Sweep (90)
868036 2010-03-17 20:49:00 I can only see one UHF aerial. nedkelly (9059)
868037 2010-03-17 22:41:00 I think you need a professional aerial installer to do the job for you from the limited knowledge you have.
:)

868038 2010-03-17 23:00:00 yeah one area I am not good in. nedkelly (9059)
868039 2010-03-17 23:31:00 You have no need to be proficient in everything.

I'd hate to do a brain transplant on myself even though I may need one according to some opinions.

868040 2010-03-17 23:42:00 You live in yuppie central golf harbor the most electronic techy place in NZ. Piece of piss, get a second hand uhf aerial from tm and a pole, cable and 2 connectors from dse and stick the ******* aerial on the roof pointing towards the skytower. prefect (6291)
868041 2010-03-18 00:00:00 Try here for info http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/ ,Installed Freeview 18 months ago myself but had to get a Aeriel installer to sort problems out like replace cable with RG6 and get the correct direction with a strength meter (I think) ,found I had signal bounce, had to point the aeriel 15dg away from correct direction.
So you may be lucky doing yourself though if you check around your neighbourhood and look at someones else's install ,the more stuff you have (sky etc) the more complications there will be

868042 2010-03-18 01:02:00 yeah Lawrence I had a look around my neighborhood from my deck and can only see one UHF aerial and it is pointing towards Great Barrier's direction. nedkelly (9059)
868043 2010-03-18 01:08:00 And are you or the neighbour in direct line of sight or are hills in the way from transmitters or repeaters?

Getting info is like getting blood out of a stone sometimes.
