| 868855 | 2010-03-21 04:06:00 | Ok, As I understand it, I need a VHF aerial to get TV 1, 2, and 3 (I have one on the roof.) I would need either a UHF aerial or Sky dish to get Freeview. I have a sky dish. I may consider Freeview in the future. Cheers for all your input guys. LL :thumbs: |

LL :confused: I got a good satellite box for picking up freeview for just $50. Far cheaper than sky. I know of many people who have only got sky to pick up the freeview channels. |

Just to make it quite clear, TV1 is always on VHF Band 1 , and TV2 & TV3 are always on VHF Band 3. The only possible exceptions are localised repeaters for very poor signal locations in major metropolitan areas. You can find the latter on the relevant websites. All other terrestrial (land-based) channels are on UHF. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
