All the Mayans had was a calendar marked in certain cycles which if you still want to use it's count has Dec. 21, 2012, when the Maya's "Long Count" calendar marks the end of a 5,126-year era. And? |

Neither China or the US will allow this to happen. The US obviously wont want it as it will result in a drop in their quality of life; no more cheaply imported goods. China wont want it as it will result in a drop in value of their US Treasury securities; China holds almost US$900B of US debt. |
