2010-10-06 19:16:00 | I am unable to print on my wireless network from my Acer Veritron running Windows 7 Professional. When in Word 2010 I try to print it tells me "No Printers Installed" - When I try adding a printer I get a message "The Active Directory Domain Services is currentl unavailable". The printer works ok from two other computers connected to the network. The Acer works ok connecting to the Internet via the network. Any help would be much appreciated. Tks Gordon

2010-10-06 19:27:00 | Is Windows 7 32 or 64 bit?? And whats the brand/model of this printer?? It looks like that message may mean the printer driver (are you trying to use Win7's driver or the driver from the printer manufacturer's site)? isnt compatible. What version of windows are on the other computers (why they work)??

2010-10-06 22:45:00 | It is my understanding that wireless printers usually work via creating ad hoc network connections between themselves and one other device, usually laptop. We really need to know if the printer is connected wirelessly or via ethernet to the router of your network and how the Acer and other device also connect to the network. | SolMiester (139) | |

Go into Control Panel, Printers and click Add New Printer. Click Network Printer if it's wireless, and then click Browse for Printer If it is connected via USB then standard local printer install. |

2010-10-07 01:25:00 | www.microsoft.com h10025.www1.hp.com Try the latest Win7 drivers: full feature install. Even then you may not get all the MFC functions working as expected. Sometimes its just so much easier to just connect via LAN/usb than wifi.
