869407 2010-03-24 00:46:00 Fair enough.
Should we fire off a Medicare bill? Or is that just for Health Professionals to do here?

869408 2010-03-24 01:15:00 I had constant outages on Vodafone in Auckland over the course of years ... You couldn't be driving down the motorway without 3x black spots which would ALWAYS drop the call. YMMV
I have been with bell south vodafone for around 14 years and my calls have always dropping out or are **** quality.
This in western auckland vodafone has **** coverage here. Place like Waitaikere village has none at all its amazing.
I would expect vodafone wont make a song and dance about xts woes until they sort their own **** out first.

869410 2010-03-24 01:54:00 The Vodafone outage was report in the "Brief" section of the NZ Herald page A3 that was about 2 inches long compared to the large one on page A3 today for the same type of Telecom outage..

Ditto, it wasn't a headline story, and no mention of problems since then have been reported.

As you say that is black spots and not a network outage.

Have you ever thought it might have something to do with the fact that the XT network has been having problem after problem, so is a little more news worthy.

But the very first failure got a lot of coverage.

You must be a rocket scientist. It was a new network.
