869760	2010-03-25 20:13:00	they've added james franklin to the squad, what a load of good he'll do . he's been in horrendous form I totally agree with you GameJunkie . They've only added him into the squad because of his one century he scored in domestic cricket in the last few days . His bowling has gone downhill and his batting hasn't improved alot . Also players like Peter Ingram, Shannan Stewart etc to extremely well in domestic cricket but when it comes to playing internationally, they don't adept to different conditions quickly . I heard a few days ago that Stewart scored a century in the first innings and a score in the 90's in the second innings . If McCullum was to focus on his batting, we could have Gareth Hopkins becoming the Black Caps new wicket-keeper batsmen . I though Gareth had a good series with the bat against the Aussies . Also heard about his double hundred domestically a few days ago . I would certainly remove Franklin and try to get Styris to come back to test cricket . He's a valuable player to the team and he isn't playing in the IPL . NZ Cricket has done alot of stupid things in the past by terminating player's contracts like Shane Bond . We are so lucky to have him back . Chris Martin isn't a strike bowler and the worst batsmen in the world . I celebrate every time when he scores a single!! :) It's early days for Southee so they shouldn't axe him . It would be great to see him swing the ball more and score runs like that 77 from 40 balls against England .	vims213 (15007)

The only grey area was at No 3, with Vettori saying Mathew Sinclair versus Peter Ingram was yet to be decided . Sinclair fielded in the slips cordon at training, suggesting he may get the nod, but the Vettori/Greatbatch selection panel is building a reputation for loyalty to the incumbents .
