869397 2010-03-23 05:44:00 Vodafones or 2 degrees issues are rarelyr reported. The media are currently into ripping down telecom, due to it being a popular company to knock, and that sells papers. Another XT outage headline sells papers, as people want telecom to fail. Tall Poppy syndrome, I think so.

869398 2010-03-23 06:13:00 It is hardly surprising that a bit of dancing happens when the pathetic midget under the robes is occasionally revealed.

I presume a major marketing initiative is planned to fix all the network weaknesses before the next lot of performance bonus reviews for the suits is due.

869399 2010-03-23 08:17:00 It's a headline for XT to have delayed SMS messages, yet Vodafone barely gets a mention at the bottom of an article for the exact same issue...

That explains why my txts were delayed this morning ...

Don't talk crap. Vodafone was reported for having an outage just recently. It's hardly surprising that the XT network is having so many problems as they have two as against Vodafones six so there is no room for errors.
I have been with Vodafone and before that with Bell South for about 13 years and I can't recall the last time there was an outage that affected me.

The Vodafone outage was report in the "Brief" section of the NZ Herald page A3 that was about 2 inches long compared to the large one on page A3 today for the same type of Telecom outage..

869402 2010-03-23 23:37:00 I had constant outages on Vodafone in Auckland over the course of years ... You couldn't be driving down the motorway without 3x black spots which would ALWAYS drop the call. YMMV Chilling_Silence (9)
869403 2010-03-24 00:05:00 Im seriously thinking of changing companies but im going to give Telecom a LAST chance. alopes (5331)

869405 2010-03-24 00:24:00 Sorry, I have been having trouble with the crystal sphere lately. Predictions are a bit wonky.

Being presumptious is still at 100% though. ;)
