2010-03-26 09:23:00 | Just looking at my bill for the month (large as usual) and noticed that I have used 2.43 gbs worth of data on local connections, Xnet's site says it is "Email, Xnet VFX (Voice over Broadband) & Xnet hosted content and game servers (such as Recoil & Gameplanet)" But I have not sent any massive emails, dont have VFX and dont play online games. Any ideas what else is covered in local data? Oh and before anyone says that inside NZ is local that is counted as national data.

2010-03-26 09:58:00 | From here (www.xnet.co.nz) This is the latest offering of free local traffic for Xnet customers. Other sources include Xnet VFX and content stored on Akamai servers: including iTunes music downloads, Playstation Network, and Microsoft System Updates. This may also inc downloads from the Apple, and the ATI site

2010-03-26 18:30:00 | I know it includes ANYTHING from Microsoft. I have downloaded 6GB iso files (like Windows Betas and such), and had them not count towards my data cap. | ryanjames.powell (13554) | |
2010-03-26 19:33:00 | wow so does that mean I did 2.43gbs of Microsoft updates? | nedkelly (9059) | |
2010-03-26 19:52:00 | If its none of the others, then probably. Altho this can inc dowloads from here as well (www.microsoft.com) If you download updates manually, or get trials of whatever, or iso's
