| 869793 | 2010-03-25 01:53:00 | Hey does anyone here have a contact in the lasercutting of sheet metal business? Not to much to be done, refer to Project "Insert Name Here" (pressf1.co.nz) and you'll see what I mean. Had a ring around local businesses but if i can get it on mates rates that'd make it easier for me to justify ;) Ta |

| 869800 | 2010-03-25 07:49:00 | Good for making hats though . A flameproof hat would be mighty handy at sea when the pillaging takes place. Although may not hold up to gunfire  I actually had a look around that site after I replied and saw the page which mentioned size. 1mm could be a bit light for what I'm doing. I'd imagine 2mm would be more suited to the outer shell of a case. I work with .9 Alley at work , quite a bit, cutting, folding, rolling etc and I would never use that for a computer case. Tomorrow morning I am going to see a local laser cutter about some acrylic cutting. The mobo tray will be made of it. And maybe drive bays if it isnt to overpriced. I will ask him about cutting metal and see what he thinks |

| 869802 | 2010-03-25 19:22:00 | I know, I was thinking that the hat would like this (www.tsl.state.tx.us) except made from .04 thick sheet (or tinfoil) which would give it the flame proof quailty | hueybot3000 (3646) | ||
