| 1145067 | 2010-10-15 05:05:00 | Acer aspire 3624wxic laptop wouldn’t boot up at all even in safe mode so we used the recovery discs we copied when we first got the computer there was four of them. Disc 1 went in ok and as disc 2 was re-writing the hard disc to restore to factory setting the following error message came on screen Cannot find preload.tag for setBootini We are using windows XP Home Edition Can any one help please? |

| 1145069 | 2010-10-15 06:23:00 | if the Partition is damaged, you may be better off installing from a Standard XP CD (not recovery) and using the COA on the back of the laptop. Only downside to that is locating the Drivers. They dont seem to be listed for that Model on Acers Sites, either in NZ or Europe. Did the laptop come with a Driver CD ? |
