1144384 2010-10-13 06:32:00 Hi peoples. I'm hoping someone can help me sort out a stupid little problem I have with 2010 Outlook email.

I had to do a fresh install of XP and Office 2010 Professional Academic after my HD started playing up. After importing all of my emails salvaged from the old HD the settings have changed slightly.

1) I can't seem to import my old calendar which I would like to do as it has some appointments, both past and future which I need to keep track of.

2) In the past the inbox used to separate emails by date ... i.e. Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Month, which I found quite handy at times. The fresh install does sort by date, however, the other separators are missing and I can't find out how to get them back.

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

1144386 2010-10-13 07:03:00 Hi SP8's

1) I think you will get your old calendar entries if you simply open the original .PST Outlook data file. It sounds as though you've exported or copied your individual emails across rather than finding the whole .PST file which would have been simpler. If you still have the original .PST file you could also try exporting just the calendar from it and importing that to your new Outlook install.

2) Just right click on the column headers where it says "Arrange by: Date" and choose "Show in Groups" near the bottom of the context menu that comes up.

cheers
W

Edit: Gary67's way probably works too. :)
