871133 2010-03-30 08:40:00 And full speed depends on where you are does it not? Sweep (90)
871134 2010-03-30 08:58:00 As fast as your line can go.

871136 2010-03-30 09:08:00 Trev, I am currently looking at other ISPs.

Does Actrix need you to spend a min amount on toll dialling?
$29.95 for the value back FS/128k 3GB looks nice.

Why does the $39.95 say ADSL2+ ready but not the value one? I thought all plans could take advantage of ADSL2+.

Cheers.

871137 2010-03-30 09:09:00 Exactly. I have heard that before.

Tomorrow I will upgrade my plan from 256k to FS perhaps and see if any differences :p Back a few yrs, I could only get 2 or 3Mbit. Like they say up to, :p

There is no minimum tolls spend .

To get ADSL2+ speeds you need a FS up as well as FS down plan and obviously an ADSL2+ enabled exchange .
If your plan limits the upload speed it will affect the download speed that you can get .
The value plan is FS/128kb up

871139 2010-03-30 19:38:00 I've joined Actrix and given Xnet the boot, haha and I am away from home now.

Transfer so free connection, no terms so it's neat. I'm on the 256k/128k now and Actrix is the same price (incl 3GB) for FS/128k.

871140 2010-03-30 19:49:00 When we get ADSL2+ wired, we can upgrade to FS/FS ...... and a new modem :D Netcomm perhaps. Nomad (952)
871141 2010-03-30 19:52:00 Interesting. Do you know if they have a homeline plan?
I used to be with Actrix in 2000 when they charged $19.95 for dial up. Still had to pay Telecom for line though. I think Telecom charged $25 for dial up then.
