| 1144416 | 2010-10-14 19:03:00 | Thats the thing apsattv, it's all very well and good to say "Don't be stupid", but in reality, social engineering is *the* hardest "scam" to avoid. You can hardly blame somebody, who's having computer issues of any description, for trusting somebody who rings up and sounds authentic, because that's something that people don't generally just do for shits n giggles... Many people simply don't know any different. |

It seems the objective was to get my credit card details and charge me for a non existent service, or possibly the illusion of a service. I guess part of the CLSID is a NZ reference number or some such. |
