1144398 2010-10-13 20:36:00 8.7?? Most of the drivers are up to 10.9. What version of windows is installed Speedy Gonzales (78)
1144399 2010-10-13 21:19:00 Sounds like the CCC application is corrupted if you have to keep reapplying the settings. If I ever have to install ATi driver I never install CCC, its just a dog...If I was you, I would got back to the restore point before this all started, go to device manager, right click the card and select uninstall, DONT reboot, then go the add\remove programs and uninstall all the ATi programs, reboot and if you have dont it correct the system will not have drivers for the card and prompt you for drivers, this is where you can use the latest WHQL drivers only..sites.amd.com
Get the driver only 24Mb...this are windows XP 32bit drivers

Good luck

1144400 2010-10-14 00:57:00 You still havn't said what version of Windows you are running. Deimos (5715)
1144401 2010-10-14 10:00:00 Sell it and buy an nVidia card, the software actually works. Agent_24 (57)
1144402 2010-10-15 05:54:00 I'm running Windows 7 64 bit

And yeah, I have pretty much figured out at this point that Nvidia is 10 times better than ATI.

I'm never buying an ATI card again.

1144403 2010-10-15 06:04:00 Probably had the wrong drivers / or they were way out of date / weren't for 64 bit Speedy Gonzales (78)
1144404 2010-10-15 06:51:00 What version of CCC were you upgrading from?

I take it you upgraded to the latest (10.9) ?
