| 1144296 | 2010-10-13 23:15:00 | Yes I notice that Dick Smith sell standalone scanners at higher prices. I would say that if you want better quality you will have to pay a higher price. The Multi function ones are cheaper but should be alright for occasional home use. |

| 1144297 | 2010-10-14 02:34:00 | I use a cheap Epson and the highest resolution it does is 4800dpi .... scanning documents ... don't use much over 300dpi. Printers and combo's are almost considered a consumable now because they're so cheap. most have a limit on the number of prints you can do before getting an expensive service ... although there are work arounds for that. Think the Epson is 5000 pages before it tells you time for a service. |
