| 871397 | 2010-04-05 00:44:00 | You could always say you come from Wyndham My CV is full of Auckland........ I did once. He misinterpreted that, and said, "Oh I didn't realise you originally came from down here, my opinion of you has now gone up considerably. Anyway, we have done some more figures and have come to the conclusion that we will be far worse off if we did come back. Considering this would be the 2nd time. So I've gone right off the idea. Husband is going to ring a 10hr retired person handyman thing on Wednesday, and I applied for a job as PC sales-twit at HN. :horrified |

My original thought was that you moved out of Auckland for a reason or reasons best known to you and so why go back to "The hated Auckland" other than jobs? OK. There are more jobs in Auckland but there are more people after them as well. |

Its yours to make and im sure we at pf1 will be right behind you every step of the way in being positive about it....right peoples? And yeap if you get a job at HN it will be 200% better than any other HN in the country and people will be flocking to the door.:) good luck with any happenings in your world, sometimes its not easy and you seem to take backwards steps no matter what you decide, but as long as you are happy, and hubby is happy who cares about the rest of the world..... no matter where you live bills will always be there, and being morgage free is a bonus you may not have if you move anywhere. take care beetle :) |

| 871403 | 2010-04-05 02:24:00 | I hope you get the job, but you might have to keep your honesty in check & smile when you sell an $800 computer. I think HN has a technical department, so hopefully they will make use of your skills before too long. | Greven (91) | ||

I think HN has a technical department, so hopefully they will make use of your skills before too long . I was thinking that too, also, I wonder if HN sales have a quota of Norton AV to sell ? More years ago than I care to remember, I worked for a chap Sam Kershaw of Kershaw's Korner fame, govt surplus shop, what a slippery Sam, would try to sell all sorts of stuff that wouldn't work to people who didn't know any better . |
