| 1144456 | 2010-10-13 11:43:00 | Hi i have recently purchased a new PC the person i brought it off recommended a 32 bitOS although im not sure what the disadvantage of 64 bit would be. Any help would be appreciated. Specs: Asus P5Q Pro Mobo Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo CPU 3.GHz 4 x 1GB Corsair 800MHz 4-4-4-12 DDR2 250 GB Western Digital SATA HDD Gigabyte 9600GT 1GB DDR3 RAM dualcore silent (no fan) |

| 1144458 | 2010-10-13 12:00:00 | Hi and thanks for the fast reply. My old system was running XP which i quite like although i was thinking of upgrading to Windows7 64Bit as it should be a nice change and my old PC couldnt handle it. Do you see any problems with Windows7 and this PC? |

| 1144459 | 2010-10-13 12:08:00 | No. It may depend on what applications you wish to run and do you have Printers, Scanners etc that you want to connect that do not have 64 bit drivers? You will need a 64bit Win7 for you to be able to use the amount of RAM you have. |

Other than that just web browsing i could also use Duel boot incase i did come across a few apps i needed to run on 32. |
