2010-10-12 22:13:00 | Hi, This morning I found 18 updates ( over and above the auto update ones ) the only file for the above number is in german Question: will the computer translate that to my computer's english- or if not where would I find that endlish version ? Out of the 18 I am left with 5 failed.-to be installed-- all appear to pertain to Office 2007 I have KB2344993, KB 2345043, KB2344875 effie c

2010-10-12 22:17:00 | No windows wont translate it to english. There's different install files for different versions of windows. Wait for a few days then see if its on the MS site. What does the error say for the Office 07 updates? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2010-10-12 22:50:00 | Hi Speedy, I used w update etc and got all, one by one all except this KB2410711--and now I see the ESET icon has gone yellow which it does once a month - so this KB file must be crucial to that ( ESET do not auto update the connection with Microsoft and has to be done manually I have qeried this with ESET in Aucland but they just shrug their shoulders-- not tht spoils ESET very acceptable A/v program -- but they could take the responsibility if they had a mind to it. Thanks again effie c

2010-10-12 22:51:00 | KB2410711 is the junk email filter install for OL. Dont think it has anything to do with NOD. This maybe the update. www.microsoft.com

2010-10-13 02:50:00 | Hi Zquerty Speedy et al, That last file KB2410711 must be the missing connection between ESET and Windows-- Icon colour now normal I still think ESET could pre empt this regular monthly occurrance by setting an automatic update themselves Still as I said ESET is a marvellous a/v Thanks all effie c

2010-10-13 07:15:00 | Hi Dunk, Not so- this icon has always changed when Microsoft updates do not include ESET when auto updating Wainui T guided me through this a year or so ago- and he did well. Right click on the yellow icon brings up the fact that it does not have the latest file and connection with Microsoft An individual install from M / update and reboot usually brings the colour back to normal--it works, but I do think ESET could correct this in house----I had conacted ESET in Aucland who refused to do so- said it was up to me Left a sour note but overall ESET is worth every cent effie c
