1145998 2010-10-19 02:19:00 As above K 923789 Security update for Flash Player will not install and now getting nagged to install it. Have tried many times with the same result. Also let it install on shut down with no joy. All other updates have installed ok
Any ideas welcome.
Maybe hide the update but cant figure how to do that and help files dont.

Would unistalling then reinstalling flash player help? if so how to do that.

1145999 2010-10-19 02:22:00 Update flash, its up to 10.1.85.3. If yours is an earlier version, its out of date. Uninstall it in add/remove programs (depending on what OS youre using). Then download / install the latest version Speedy Gonzales (78)

I should have said XP Home.
Flash player does not show up in Add/Remove Programmes
Updates are displayed.

1146001 2010-10-19 02:33:00 Just go to adobe.com and update the flash player from there - they have changed their site a little today so you might need to scroll down a little more than usual.

Once you've updated flash player from there, restart the PC and check for updates again - the flash player update should have gone.

Maybe it cant update 'cause maybe it is not installed so will try Wrattarus's suggestion

1146004 2010-10-19 03:15:00 OK problem fixed. It wasn't installed. Dowloaded installer and installed it. All good now.
