| 872594 | 2010-04-04 01:50:00 | Despite what my title says I am not wiring THE solar system but rather a solar powered LED lighting system. Building the new deck which is about 500 or so off the ground and am going to put some small LED sunken lights in to define the edge so people don;t fall off. (if i could get lights that also repel drunk people it'd be ideal but i think that technology is still a few years away yet!!). Anyway the ligths are 12v dc and will be powered off a small soalr panel that is charging a battery that is going to live in a weatherproof box under the deck. As the the wiring from light to light should this be installed in conduit or will it be okay tacked up under the deck along the purlins (or whatever the deck version of purlins is). Any advice most welcome thanks |
