872304 2010-04-03 03:28:00 And I've misplaced the manual for the car stereo/radio. It is a JVC KD G245 - and nothing is logical. I had to study the manual closely to change the clock the last time. :(

You would have thought I would have put the manual in a logical place - but so far....

Can anyone help? :)

872305 2010-04-03 04:15:00 Aha - found a manual to download. It didn't match up with the model I have, but looked close enough - and so it was! All good now - I'm happy, but it's a mystery where I put the original one... R.M. (561)

(everyone knows that only women use or know how to use manuals!)

LOL

872307 2010-04-03 07:18:00 You are lucky. I don't even have a manual for the radio clock in my car, nor can I find one on the internet. :(

It takes me about 15 mins or so of fiddling to reset the time and once I have done it I usually have no idea how it was done so can't write instructions down for next time. :p

872308 2010-04-03 09:46:00 I have a similar method that does the timer switches, videos, car radio, and all the other sundry things that I will discover to be wrong for the next month or so. Watch is already done, phone may well be next, then the trouble starts with the tricky ones. Maybe I should compromise and just go back half an hour and leave it at that for the whole year?
Then tomorrow, I can go do the whole gamut of Dragon clocks when I'm not hacking at the !@# lawn.

872309 2010-04-03 09:47:00 Some of the digital clock nowadays are so difficult to the the time and date - one really has to fiddle with it for a while just to get it set. And most likely, you don't know what you have done! Don't know what sort of 'logical brain' the programmer has. Cultural differences? bk T (215)
872310 2010-04-03 21:17:00 The most difficult ended up being my digital watch - caused by me ignoring the Daylight Saving instructions! Then I wondered why London time was so difficult to set up (have a son there, so need to know when/when not to ring). Then the penny dropped... And so round and round again to correct the mistakes I had made!

Then I woke up this morning - ah, the camera.:clap

872311 2010-04-03 22:10:00 99% of digital clocks are easy as pie. If they have the following buttons (not required to be in this order); Snooze, Sleep, Alarm, Time, Minute, Hour.

Just press time + hour or minute. Also, if it's a radio/alarm clock, chances are high that you can make it show seconds too. You had to press two buttons at once, I think it was sleep+snooze, or alarm+sleep, I can't for the life of me find it on the net...
