| 871868 | 2010-04-01 23:51:00 | I've had a 520 model (very similar - same body & screen, etc) since 2006. It was a great device, but in the last year the conductive rubber pad comprising the keyboard has lost its conductive properties & a raft of the buttons (most of the numeric keypad) no longer worked - I could occasionally coax some life out of them by dismantling & cleaning the pad, but it never lasted long. Recommended if you bear in mind it may get flaky after 3 years or so. Have just recently given up on the 520 & purchased a "One" model that is way better, but also nearly 3x the price. It uses proper switches under the keyboard & hopefully will last longer. |
