871827 2010-04-01 19:22:00 If a homeless/(person who the world doesn't care about anymore) person was about to die, would you
A: save them, sacrificing your own life In the process.
B: let them die because they don't matter anymore.
C: sacrifice someone else's life to save them.
Please post your thoughts, it is interesting to see what people think on the matter, because homeless people living on the streets die every day. What would you do?

why does someone else have to die to 'save' a homeless person?

871829 2010-04-01 19:30:00 Depends completely if the homeless person has a addiction problem or not.
I have no time for people with chemical addictions.

871830 2010-04-01 19:34:00 Testing for chemical residues could slow your response to the degree that you may as well just shrug and let the Government take care of it.:sleep R2x1 (4628)
871831 2010-04-01 19:43:00 That depends on if the homeless person was CB or WMG plod (107)
871832 2010-04-01 19:46:00 Your question is phrased in such a manner that it doesn't give enough information to make a choice. You don't mention how they will die. For example, in hospital from pneumonia or fallen into the sea and you jumped in to rescue them.

You are also adding bias with assumptions such as homeless people are lesser a person than someone else.

For example:
B: let them die because they don't matter anymore.

Should be:
B: let them die.

871833 2010-04-01 20:22:00 Homeless people are dieing constantly, but then so are people with homes.

I do nothing.

And will continue in that manner.

871834 2010-04-01 20:41:00 Alcohol is a chemical addiction too if taken to the extreme, or if it has to be consumed everyday just so you can face the world. It can be as little as one drink a day but if you have to have it then that's an addiction gary67 (56)
