872003 2010-04-03 10:00:00 So may I assume the Roman name means you sit around in baths with boys? Sweep (90)
872004 2010-04-03 10:55:00 Roddy is the name I go by, prefer it to my real name Roderick. Boy is just tacked tacked on to the end for some reason. I usually go by roddyboy now but this was one of the first internet forums I joined and the mods won't change it for me. Apparently you have to be special to get that sort of thing done around here.

Better than my nickname Roderina which I acquired after winning the Miss Waipoua Forest competition in 2001. Got called that by some of my teachers for the remainder of my schooling >_<

If you are a REALLY bad shot, you could miss the entire Waipoua Forest, even while standing in it. ;)

Just random sequence I thought would be easy to remember. Take a look at your keyboard. ;)

That's quite cool. But if I did that I would've stuck to just 6 letters.

872010 2010-04-03 19:24:00 Well, Cat has been my online name for years (and in real life in some cases). As for the whole name - "The cat's pyjamas" just happpens to be a saying I really like.

I'd love to know the story behind that saying.

There is no meaning beyond the idiomatic; "The cat's pyjamas" was popularized in the twenties by the fashionable set, along with a lot of other like phrases such as "The bees knees" and "the clams garters". The list goes on and on, and all but the first two have virtually disappeared from our language.
The phrases were just slang of the time for "cool" (or should I say 'hep'?)

872012 2010-04-04 01:06:00 Mine is a username I had at my first IT job. The company had a username policy of the first three letters of the first name and the first three letters of the surname.

We even had a young lady who had the rather unflattering username of "catgut" and a guy with "harlet"....
