| 872670 | 2010-04-04 22:26:00 | I have a wee Nano to listen to music on interminable plane journeys - why would I want a clunker like the iPod Touch to do that? And seriously, who uses the thing for any other kind of media than music? Who would willingly watch a video on a tiny screen like that!!!??? I've watched an entire episode of The Simpsons on my phone's tiny screen. Granted, I don't do it often. |

Imagine watching Lord of the Rings (or even Lord of the Flies) straining your eyes and losing the point of what the film director was trying to achieve on the big screen? Using it for playing games? - who has time in their life to do that when there are so many better things to do outside on your feet or your bike? Quite often sit on the couch at night using son's ipod, playing games, watching programs and surfing the net. |

Also the ipod touch screen is quite big, certainly large enough to comfortably watch a tv program or video podcast. Its larger size is to accommodate the larger screen you know. However the nano screen would be a terrible size to watch it on. |

In response to your claim that it was a great media player, I was saying that I had a Nano that could deal with the music part of the media player stuff, and who would want anything more than that - I couldn't be bothered watching videos on anything that small (a "normal" iPod, just to be clear). And my Nano is too old to have a screen - it still works fine so why would I upgrade just to get a screen that I think is a waste of time watching anyway. |
