873306 2010-04-05 10:31:00 Jim Mora played a Dolly song last Wednesday( or possibly the week before ), its about a girl who gets pregnant and her lover promises to sort it out when he comes back from ...???..( naturally he never comes back..it wouldn't be a country song if he did )

If I knew the name of the town I'd be able to find the song...

there must be a Dolly fan out here somewhere

873312 2010-04-05 21:33:00 I actually have that Nancy Sinatra / Lee Hazlewood cd with that tune on it. It is on the Rhino label.

873314 2010-04-06 03:21:00 There's a really good Dolly Parton song where she speaks about being somewhere close to the Arctic Circle presumably on a Canadian tour, it's beautiful and subtle, I was surprised, didn't realize how accomplished she is.

A bit like Jewel's song, "Standing Still" which I think is very good.

And all this time Joe, I assumed you were an Alabama-type redneck whose very raison detre was Dolly P music.

I'm impressed.
