Apple believes in closed access systems, so it is unlikely you will be able to install anything to block any ads. Their free apps on the iPhone now has ads running - the only way to get rid of them is to buy the application. |

I heard somewhere (Geekzone) that iPads in America are going to be bundled with 'free' internet access (3G, I think) which is to be independent (from the user's POV) of provider. Apple will manage that relationship with the provider. TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch) Apple will be relying on advertising revenues from the device to cover (and then some) the cost of providing the internet access.... |
