874486 2010-04-09 00:09:00 Seems like Te Pairi is a bit of pricky greedy bastard. Doesn't surprise me his ilk would ruin a triangle friendship for the sake of a few millions. qazwsxokmijn (102)

He put up more than half the ticket price why shouldn't he get a share? It seems that the one that put in the least amount of money it trying to use the fact that he went to buy it to get more than he deserves.

NZ Herald

"The statement of claim filed by Mr Te Pairi and Mr Garlick says the three pooled their money, using $340 for a ticket in that night's Oz Lotto draw."

Australian HeraldSun

"Mr Te Pairi and Mr Garlick say the three pooled a total of $340 on the day of the Oz Lotto draw and had "an impromptu party" at Mr Pretty's home in Carrum.

They spent $26 of the money on a 24-game quick pick ticket in the draw, which carried a record prize pool."

After drinking $300 at their party they probably can't remember what the agreement was :D The lawyers will win in the end.

TBH with a win that big I wouldn't really take into account how much is put in by a friend. I'll just split it equally.
