| 874741 | 2010-04-11 02:46:00 | well i went back up into ceiling and re did cables, and got on the end of ladder to the roof and chickened out cos its scary, its quite steep and i not good with heights. but there is a fuzzy pic and some sound, :D beetle |

| 874743 | 2010-04-11 03:30:00 | Ok changed short cable and nope not any better, it gets 3 channels of the same fuzzy pic, and the other cable goes thro the wall up into ceiling and im not sure how i would change that..... lol im giving up for now........ got lots of other stuff to do, housework never sleeps, had a weeks holiday at home and back to work tomorow and ya cant tell ive been home at all....:D beetle |

| 874744 | 2010-04-11 04:52:00 | ok perserverence is the key i went back up in the ceiling and re wired the cables and made sure no bits sticking out or touching where they shouldnt....... and i have channels 1, 2 and 3 better than ever before......... sigh. :banana:clap:punk i did it, thanks for all the help and information peoples, much appreciate the help ........... i knew if i came here i would eventually get it sorted... :) still cant get prime, but then i dont know if the aerials i have are suitable, and what numbers it should be searching for on the auto tune on tv. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! beetle ..............................................:D |

| 874748 | 2010-04-11 05:31:00 | Oh and i have 2 going (both 32 widescreens) off the aerial all good, each got 3 channels. 1 telly is strictly for playstation, (29 inch) and one in kidlets room for her dvds and music, (21 inch) and a 14 inch sitting doing nothing in the kitchen and another 14 inch in my room collecting dust cos one of the 32 inchs is in my bedroom, tis cool to watch this while in bed.........:D and the youngest tv we have is 4 years old? so not like we have top of the range tellys.........:p beetle |

| 874750 | 2010-04-11 05:41:00 | Prime works off the UHF aerial, so you would something like this (www.dse.co.nz) which you plug into the telly and the UHF and VHF aerials into the other 2 sockets. :) |
