| 874382 | 2010-04-08 12:33:00 | Piss off, I'm too tired to argue right nowSo, umm, why did you bother to respond to this thread? Or is it just that your left hand has become a bit tired? | Greg (193) | ||

| 874384 | 2010-04-08 20:07:00 | R I want a TV in my room. . Dad said NO Im 16 now and can get married, have sex, leave home etc etc so why the hell cant I have a TV in my room???, I'M paying for it myself and I've offered to pay part of the electric bill if need be. Actually you can't get married. You need your parents permission until you are 20. I think buying something yourself is fair enough. Although I don't know why people need TVs in bedrooms. Whats wrong with the lounge? If your dad has one in his room, then there are 2 TVs now, enough to settle arguments about who is watching what. But if it were my son and he bought the TV himself I wouldn't fuss. So long as he didn't become totally anti-social - |

| 874387 | 2010-04-08 22:07:00 | Right, so the deal is that I want a TV in my room . Looking at a 32" samsung LCD atm . Anyway . . . Dad basically said NO the second I brought the idea up . So I need to convince him to let me . So my arguments at the moment are: Im 16 now and can get married, have sex, leave home etc etc so why the hell cant I have a TV in my room???, Follow these steps exactly:: 1) Get married 2) Have LOTS of sex 3) Don't return to home after you leave - the first time counts! 4) Mortgage a home for yourself, your wife, your eleven kids 5) Put anything you WANT in your room . 6) Don't forget to buy food for YOUR family in YOUR home - and don't forget to pay YOUR utility bills either . You'll show them! |

| 874389 | 2010-04-09 03:03:00 | Actually you can't get married. You need your parents permission until you are 20. wat Consent to Enter into a Marriage To get married both parties to the marriage must be at least 16 years of age. If either party is 16 or 17 years of age, they must obtain consent: * You must obtain consent' from each of your guardians (usually your parents) unless they cannot be located or are, as a result of incapacity, unable to give consent. * If none of your guardians are able to give consent, you must obtain consent from a relative acting in place of a guardian, or from a Family Court Judge. * If your parents or guardians refuse consent, you can apply to a Family Court Judge for consent to get married. |
