Respect is a two-way street and when there are different rules for different races, or some pull the race card when they get caught doing things "other people" aren't allowed to, people get upset. Exhibit 1: www.nzherald.co.nz I agree 100%. if the first case, it would be nice if people respected the iwi and did not take seafood for a few days. in the second case the dude should face the facts of the law. FTA , "he said he knew it was illegal". |

| 874260 | 2010-04-09 07:31:00 | this is one of the more racist threads I have seen, farnkly i am shocked at the lack of respect. the maori people have protocol when people die, so do most cultures. is it that hard to show a little respect? what would you think if someone gate crashed the funeral of your friend? all they are asking is that people don't collect seafood from that part of the coast for a few days. it would be nice if you respected that, but you dont have to. but to go on the internet and ***** about it? get a life!!
