If you dont know the protocol dont bother replying The point is why do the maori's have to have a protocol about everything, when a white man gets stabbed in park, park can't be used again until a maori bless it. No, I don't know the protocol and I shouldn't need too. And if people only replied to stuff their know this would be one empty forum |

| 874249 | 2010-04-08 08:52:00 | If I wanted to go fishing at my fav spot at a certain time no one except the police will stop me. I have seen a rahui sign at Shelly Beach boat ramp Kapaira about 3 years and ignored it for exactly the same reasons as plod said. After towing my boat from GE all the way up there nothing is going to stop me catching mr snapper. |

| 874253 | 2010-04-09 00:58:00 | this is one of the more racist threads I have seen, farnkly i am shocked at the lack of respect. the maori people have protocol when people die, so do most cultures. is it that hard to show a little respect? what would you think if someone gate crashed the funeral of your friend? all they are asking is that people don't collect seafood from that part of the coast for a few days. it would be nice if you respected that, but you dont have to. but to go on the internet and ***** about it? get a life!! |

Sorry, but I must respond. Respect is a two-way street and when there are different rules for different races, or some pull the race card when they get caught doing things "other people" aren't allowed to, people get upset.
