873784 2010-04-07 01:03:00 Next time, get a manual. Don't trust Jap autos. :groan:

While this was true 15 years ago, these days they are pretty damn good.

Except in Mazda SP20's :D

It just might not be economic to fix a Caldina, only way to do it cheaply is get one from Pick a Part and fit it yourself then flick car off before this one*****itself.
And dont say you cant do it yourself you can anyone can that means you if you have half a brain and the use of most of your limbs.

873786 2010-04-07 01:23:00 Actually I just bought a Mazda SP20... in manual. ;)

Shot Wrat - what year? I had a feeling all manual SP20's were 4WD?

873787 2010-04-07 01:40:00 Year 2000, yeah it is 4wd, wont be quite as economic but man it sticks to the road well. 65,000km! :D wratterus (105)

Crikey - she'll ride a bit hard & noisy? They're pretty low at stock, and certainly not the quietest car ever created!! :D

873792 2010-04-07 02:42:00 Yeah you'd think so but it's not too bad, has adjustable konis. They were all done by mag and turbo and it looks like they've done a good job. After driving my old levin though, anything would feel smooth and quiet. :p

I'll put some pics up when I take some.
