| 876284 | 2010-04-14 03:25:00 | Took this last night at around 7pm. This is a 'plainclothes' speed camera car who is apparently illegally parked. No I did not get 'nobbled' by this camera (so this is not revenge), I just feel that there should be one law for all. He shouldn't be pinging other people for unlawful acts if he is doing something wrong himself.... Thought about NZTA, but I can't see anything there for complaining about the behaviour of speed camera cars. Is this an issue that should be owned by the police? Are they in charge of mobile speed cameras? If they are I can't see anywhere I can attach a photo to a complaint.... |

You can go to your nearest Court and lodge a complaint. Bear in mind that law enforcement agencies have defences as to parking and what is parked anyway? Parked means being in the one place for a period exceeding 5 minutes so can I take it that you had the vehicle under continuous observation? I took a pics of a van equipped with a speed camera parked over a driveway and also took pics of the person in the van when he climbed out to see what I was doing. Good luck. |
