| 876140 | 2010-04-13 09:37:00 | looks good. Is it practical? Suprisingly, yes. Bottom left icon gives me the start menu. User picture brings up my user folder. I think the best thing is actually being able to do things on my desktop- i.e. I can click on a link and then it just fades out the list and the article comes up instead of opening firefox. and I know google desktop, sidebar etc can do all of this, but there is something about having it look and work this elegant (though it wasn't the easiest to setup everything) makes me feel at home. Also now that Im using the start menu on auto hide, It's just amazing how much more screen real estate you get without it. Play music from the desktop, check the weather and the news, quick check my emails and theres the first few things I do when I turn on the computer without opening any apps :) |
