| 875954 | 2010-04-13 01:52:00 | I'm getting conflicting reports. Loads of work, no work. Apparently the printing industry is stuffed with loads closing. Apparently Orewa is stuffed with shops and businesses closed. Apparently there is loads of renovation work going on. So, is the job scene buggered there too or not? |

| 875955 | 2010-04-14 01:06:00 | I was in Auck a month ago, and from what I gather its down like the rest of the country (similar percentage) but picking up. As with any small town vs big town there are more opportunities but more competition. I think the more "employable" people have a easier time in larger centers. I would be "trying" to obtain a job before moving, well that's my 2 cents for what its worth. |

| 875957 | 2010-04-14 02:39:00 | Plenty of job openings around as far as I can see. Certainly not the level it was a few years ago, but also far far better than it was this time last year, at least as far as skilled jobs go. Different industries are at different stages too, so the conflicting reports probably depend who you ask. What sort of work are you looking for? |
