1148016 2011-03-08 02:54:00 OK. Just did a speed and ping test.

Speedtest was 5.59mbps down and .69mbps up. Were it should be.

Pingtest was a shocker.
from auckland to tauranga.
ping: 800ms
Jitter:1446ms
packetloss: 15%

Seriosly. WTF causes a ping that high. ANd it seems like the ping jumps around cuase speedtest lists it as 59.

2mins later.
ping: 96
jitter: 91
Packets loss: 26%

I don't see the connection between selling parts and being an expert in networking.

1148024 2011-03-08 21:52:00 Well someone who sells and repairs computers is probably going to know more about setting up routers etc than someone who thinks the Computer IS the router.

You don't need to be an enterprise-grade certified network architect to set up an ADSL connection....

Then again, he isn't helping his case by saying "its not something stupid we have dont out of stupidity."

1148025 2011-04-20 07:47:00 NZNet has been good since they have fixed the problem with speeds late Feb - early March. As well as that you can't find better pricing.... Try them out.. NeZeMa (16050)
