Although due to the way they have their site set up, if you want to download multiple threads at a time, AFAIK only IDM handles their setup well. Everything else falls over and dies. |

| 875694 | 2010-04-14 00:36:00 | Yes you must upload, if you download and then don't seed too many times you get banned. Some sites also require you seed straight after downloading without disconnection, they won't care if you come back a day later and seed 9000% (pretty stupid in my opinion) Most half decent Private sites have a grace period of a week to get that ratio sorted. Ratio to keep is usually about .6 to .8 or better so you can download a bit more than you upload. Also ratio's are fairly easy to cheat so effectively upload nothing, but thats naughty talk :P Most decent private sites are invite only. |

In the rare event that what I want to download is ONLY available on Rapidshare, I don't want to pay money for it. I use Rapidshare once every few months (or less), it would be a waste of money. And isn't the point of downloading for free, that it's FREE? if you're going to pay for Rapidshare, you might as well just buy it from the shop... I know it's cheaper, but it's just a little ironic ;) I went thirds with a couple of mates and we all share the account. Ended up being about $10 each I think. |
