1147996 2011-01-20 00:58:00 I'm on the new Telecom Total Home 40GB plan, which is a sufficient amount of data for me.

No problems with speed or anything either.

Yep, We have two phone lines at our house, Our House line and home broadband is with Telecom, and i have absolutely no complaints with their speed, and what i do is switch between the 20 and 40 Gb plans every month which then give me a total of 60 Gb every month, I was on their Big time plan, but now that it is cancelled, and with 6 people in the house, the data goes quickly,

and the second phone line (personal Phone) which runs into my room is with sling shot, and i was using their Pro plan which has 25Gb and then i just bought Blocks of data, but it was getting expensive, so when they introduced their All you can eat plan, i switched to give it a go, but DL/UL speeds are slow.

So i could put the second line onto Telecom, but before i do that i want to look at other options.

and for the work i do with it,, lots of video, photo, web work etc, i would want at least 100-150 Gb, but more would be great, that's why i am interested in NZ Net's plans, especially their Unlimited plan.

So i have access to bo

1147998 2011-01-20 02:23:00 Well you can get up to 80GB on Total Home but I am not sure how much it would cost. Agent_24 (57)
1147999 2011-01-20 03:55:00 the biggest plan is 40 Gb for telecom, but they were doing a promotion for New connections that they double the data, but i'm not sure if that special is still going... stevensaaron (6348)

1148003 2011-01-20 09:45:00 I wouldn't try it. Not with their spelling.

No Setup Fee's aye? I wonder what the hell that means.

1148004 2011-01-20 19:02:00 I've been with them for a few months now, no issues, not to mention I've had hosting with them in the past.

They had some minor network troubles about 2 years back right before they went HA, but other than that, they're pretty solid.

No complaints here about their DSL at all, it's through Orcon, was a quick switch from Telecom. I'm a happy customer :)

1148005 2011-01-22 10:29:00 Recently got his email from them

Hi,

We are making some changes with our wholesaler for DSL at some point in the next month and have noticed we are missing a few details for your account. You won’t be required to make any changes at your end.

Could you please send me the following details for your DSL line (It is essential that these details are accurate as per your Telecom account) :

Telecom (or other provider) account number

Name on the account

Billing address of the account

Also:

Email Address (if this is not your primary email address)

Physical address (if different to billing)

It may be easier to fax the front page of a Telecom bill through to me, and I can enter these details for you. +64 9 914 0040

Thanks

Chris Barry

Maybe it will be fixed dunno tho tbh has been slightly better but still crappy most times.
