876875 2010-04-15 10:23:00 In the course of any normal day, I use about 4-5 different OSes - some days it'll be more than that. I could never pick a "favourite" as they are each good for different things. somebody (208)

876881 2010-04-15 10:39:00 Why is it that your two linux choices are both Ubuntu based?

Personally I find both Ubuntu and Kubuntu 'unsuitable' for my uses. I use a different Debian based Linux (MEPIS).

How about just a simple "Linux" option in the poll. Then I can participate with a vote ;)

876882 2010-04-15 13:03:00 I voted for Vista . One of only two people so far, haha . I have have Vista HP and I like it . It just works . I've heard that people (esp IT/technical people) hate it, but I've had no problems with it at all . I'm not tech savvy though, just a regular user who only knows the basics .

My first computer had XP and that machine was an absolute disaster area, but I think that was more to do with it being an ex-trademe computer with terrible specs, than the actual OS . We use XP at work . We are quite limited in what we can and can't do with the work machines, so can't really measure it well .

I haven't tried Win 7 yet .

And yes it does work, and I'm computer literate.
