| 1148330 | 2010-10-28 07:45:00 | As part of the auto Windows update about a week ago the Live Essentials package was part of a recommended upgrade. As Speedy has suggested, think I have tracked down the 2011 final version and things have a different look about them, but need to trial it for a day or so to see if it is stable. Thanks all - - - |

| 1148331 | 2010-10-28 10:08:00 | Windows 7 and Vista Security Fake Microsoft Security Essentials is a Trojan Many folks download Microsoft's anti-malware tool, Security Essentials, because it's free. Be careful if you do. A new Trojan is taking advantage of that to disguise itself as Security Essentials threat reports, with the intent of luring you into downloading and paying for a rogue security scanner. Read more about it here: www.win7news.net I copied this from Widows7 and Vista newsletter. It might be your problem. |
