| 1147966 | 2010-10-30 00:46:00 | Ok things I asked and the replies from NZNET If you choose to go with Premium DSL (Max/Max) 100Gb then you will have a monthly cost of $99.95 + GST. There will be no other installation fees and providing you are currently with an ISP and we can do a simple transfer. This is based on the assumption that you have an existing router and you are able to re-configure it yourself. 1) Does the Premium DSL package include email? If so, what is this comprised of? (number of mailboxes, storage space etc) With this package you receive a free mail box if you wish. Some people prefer to keep their original mailbox and others like to have a new address with NZNET. 2) Does the Premium package come with personal web space? If so, how many MB of data does this come with? The Premium package does not have personal web space. We can provide however web hosting and Domain names at a fee. 3) I currently have a domain name "parked" with Vodafone would I be able to transfer this to NZNET and keep it "parked" until I want to use it? What would the fee be for this if any? Yes we are able to Park your domain name after transferring it across to us, at a cost of $8.89 per month. In addition to that there will be an annual fee of $49.95 billed to you directly from Domainz. 4) Is there an option to have "interleaving" enabled/disabled on my connection? We offer a continuous service with no interleaving at this stage. Hope that helps some of you out there... I am really interested. Cheers, |

| 1147967 | 2010-11-01 04:02:00 | Id just like to add my two cents about this ISP we have been using them for a couple of months now and for what you pay they have to be the worst ISP I have ever come across. They have 2 IT Support guys who are lazy as and never answer their phones. Your bill just doesn't come unless you beg them and then when you finally get the bill its incredibly high. I would NOT recommend you use these guys. Worst ISP EVER! | Garrian (15903) | ||

Wel'll only been using it for 2 months and i have had no problems as of yet, i get my bills on time and i dunno how your "bill is incredibly high", word of advise just don't go over your monthly limit and you don't pay an excess and with the amount of post's you have, you just seem unreliable. my 2 cent |

| 1147975 | 2010-11-19 10:18:00 | Have signed up with this crowd about 2 months ago. It was going perfectly fine until 2 weeks ago when all the international traffic just died. First my SKYPE would work as the lag was just rediculous, then youtube and bing videos fell down (takes ages to load a crapy resolution video now). Then I went to measure the results on speedtest and pingtest websites and got the following out of 3 random tests on each website: www.speedtest.net www.speedtest.net www.speedtest.net www.pingtest.net www.pingtest.net www.pingtest.net Then funny things started happening with traffic counter when it jumped 45Gb in 2 days even though I didn't download anything (that has been adjusted by NZNet back to original trafic used and admitted to be a glitch in the system) Emailed them about unbelievable speedtest and pingtest results, waiting on the reply. Have to admit first reply about the traffic was very quick (overnight), bills come monthly on regular basis, they do send reminders at 80% of used traffic to warn you're reaching your limit. Email is answered in timely manner, they do call back quite quick as well if you ring up with enquiry and leave message with your number. P.S. Tried 2 different ADSL modems, 3 different PCs and one stand alone SKYPE phone to make sure the problem is not hardware related on my side. My quotation was the same as one from the post above. It also included clause that they do not guarantee VoIP quality... Got an email reply from them that the Premium DSL package ADSL2 + connection at max/max (100GB) at $99.95. If I wish to have phone included, have to add another $29.95 plus $149.95 initial setup costs.
