1147604 2010-10-26 08:25:00 Hi I am with Slingshot too and also have had the same problem over the past few days. I rang their helpdesk last night and there was an automated message saying that they were having problems in the South Island of some sort.

Same here. I'm a Slingshot user too, and the Internet started to have occasional downtimes from Sunday. I didn't ring the helpdesk though; I just thought it was because "nothing was perfect".

1147605 2010-10-26 08:36:00 Wait is it actually possible the issue could be Slingshot? Will probably still buy a new modem, although Speedy what would you next best recommendation be? Preferably $100 or less and one that I can buy locally from a shop. Otherwise might get the one posted.. --Wolf-- (128)
1147606 2010-10-26 09:06:00 Speedy hasn't recommended any modems, wratterus did. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, don't go for the cheap / free ones, not worth the hassle.
Just save for a little longer, or sell some other kind of gadget to pay for it ;)
