The whole issue strikes me as a politically motivated beat-up. She had a cell-phone turned on, so was in instant communication if the need arose. It is not clear to me what purpose would have been served if she had been hovering over (presumably competent) staff instead. You must have had a sheltered life if you think lard arse is offensive when speaking about a politician. Lard arse is polite if you see what the ozzie bloggers are calling her. A human can last a month without food what she did was nothing short of disgusting and I hope she resigns. Last time I felt this disgusted with a politician was jenny shipley telling people they should learn to live on a benefit when she was the size of a heifer. |
